A lot of designers say that the color of your bedroom can change your mood. As you grow old, you may experience something that you thought isn’t curable. Maybe, you think that you are starting to detaching yourself from the person you used to. Your favorite color is like one of the reminders you have from the past. Just by seeing that color, you end up walking in the memory lane.

However, this is not about a trip to your childhood article. Although it’s a bit similar to that. Most of us have favorite colors, may it be a shade, hue, or a tint. Sometimes, other people fail to delve into the colors that they love because it doesn’t suit the theme they want for their room. Here are some of the color scheme you would like to use for your bedroom.


red scheme

Red is a strong color. It is feisty and bold. If you are in one place and you see the color red, it will immediately attract your attention. One of the best examples is when a lady wears a red lipstick, it can immediately be drawn the attention of the people. Red is an important and very basic color, however, it needs to be used in moderation.

There are a lot of shades of yellow. If your favorite color is yellow, it’s either you can choose dark one or the bright yellow. As you can see from the photos below, yellow is a good combination with the color white. It gives you the brighter feeling and happiness since these things are what the yellow color can attract.

blue scheme

For people who love blue, there are also a lot of variety of this color. Some may perceive this one as a masculine color. However, it depends on what shade you are using. Below, you can see two different bedrooms with blue accents that you can follow whether you are a girl or a guy.

green scheme

A lot of green color enthusiast may find this color a bit inviting and close to nature. Since it gives us the chance to appreciate the color that can greatly be seen in the environment. It also gives peace due to the reason that it relates to balance and harmony.

Just like the color blue, the pink color, on the other hand, is dab as a feminine color. However, there are instances where you can use this color for the rooms of guys. A lot of people wants to take everything as a whole like if you are a guy and you wear pink you are gay. Anyways, pink can be used by any gender or sexuality. It doesn’t matter if you are a girl or a guy.

This color has always been associated with prestige and royalty. According to Color Psychology, “It is a beautiful color, selected by both women and men. Since it is a chromatic mixture of the fiery red and profound calm blue, purple is considered to be the balance between these two primary colors.”

orange scheme

When yellow is too bright and red is too strong for you, you can have the color orange. As cited in Color Psychology, “It is the color that gives you shelter in though moments, by not allowing you to sink into grief or disappointment. It brings a high degree of positivism, always rejuvenating us in the most difficult moments.”

As you can see, most of the combination is with white. In some cases, they only made the color to accentuate the bedroom. It is not necessarily that you need to change everything in your room. All you have to do is to be creative so you will end up appreciating it than wanting to get rid of it.
